Ritassida Mamadou Djiguimde holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of English at Southern Arkansas University. Dr. Djiguimde has over 14 years of teaching experience spanning a wide range of courses, both inside and outside his specialized field, from English as a Foreign Language courses to first-year composition courses, advanced writing courses, and applied linguistic courses. One of his main areas of interest has been the crossroads of language, teaching, and technology. His readings, inquiries, and publications in the diverse but interconnected fields of linguistics, composition, semiotics, visual rhetoric, digital literacy, multimodality, e-learning, and natural language processing, are the motors of his intellectual pursuits.
